Project Safe Neighborhoods

In Greer, the Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) initiative plays a crucial role in reducing gun and gang violence through a comprehensive approach. The nationwide program focuses on tackling violent crime by uniting local law enforcement with federal, state, and tribal agencies, as well as community leaders. Greer's PSN strategy emphasizes community engagement, prevention, and strategic enforcement to improve safety and address the most pressing crime issues in the area.

The Vice & Narcotics Team focuses on addressing crimes related to illegal drugs, prostitution, gambling, and alcohol violations. The team dedicates most of its efforts to Patrol-Based Initiatives, which involve targeted enforcement of identified issues within the community. By specializing in narcotics and vice operations, the team works to reduce criminal activity and enhance public safety.
