Permits are required before any work begins in the City of Greer, and it is the contractor’s responsibility to obtain them. The city verifies that contractors are licensed, insured, and bonded before issuing permits and inspects all work for compliance with adopted codes. Inspections can be requested through eTRAKiT or by calling (864) 968-7029. Requests made by 11:59 p.m. Monday through Friday will be scheduled for the next business day.
