The City of Greer Engineering Department manages and coordinates construction projects, including street paving, road, sidewalk, and drainage improvements. The department reviews all development plans to ensure compliance with city standards and stormwater regulations and performs inspections of new site, road, and drainage system construction.

Capital improvement projects are large-scale, multi-year initiatives to enhance or create infrastructure, property, or equipment.
