Edward R. Driggers Center for the Arts

The Center for the Arts is a dynamic cultural hub in a restored 1955 building that underwent a $2.5 million renovation before opening in 2019, blending history with vibrant arts programming.

The Center for the Arts features office and classroom spaces, artists in residence, and a 150-seat auditorium. Surrounding the center is a scenic two-acre park with walking trails, green spaces, a small amphitheater, and a playground, creating an inspiring space for creativity and connection.

Art Studios

The City of Greer Center for the Arts offers a dynamic Artist in Residence program, providing studio spaces for working artists in a collaborative and inspiring environment. The center features seven climate-controlled studios ranging from 95 to 160 square feet, each offering 24-hour key card access, free Wi-Fi, and access to shared amenities, including a breakroom kitchen and a rotating on-site exhibit area.

Artists in residence become part of a vibrant creative community, working alongside fellow artists while having the opportunity to showcase their work within the center. This program fosters artistic growth and engagement, offering a dedicated space for artists to develop their craft in an enriching and supportive setting.
