After several months of renovations and anticipating, Flying Fox Fox Coffee opened it’s new cafe on Trade Street last week.

“We wanted to create a space that was our own, that we felt really good and passionate about bringing people into share in the same experience with us,” Cp-owner Jeremy Hartman said.

Jeremy Hartman is the co-owner of Flying Fox Coffee and says they have come a long wya since their start as a coffee cart at weddings.

“So we started in 2020 with the cart and then had the opportunity at Cartwright to open a brick and mortar which we didn’t think we’d be able to but we were like let’s just try it,” Hartman said.

After success inside Cartwright Food Hall, Hartman and his business partner were ready to have their own space. He says it’s been an amazing experience watching their vision come to life.

“to see people just relaxing and just hanging out, this is such a surreal moment,” Hartman said.

When looking for spaces to grow, Hartman says they considered other cities at first.

“We just kept coming back to Greer the people just made us want to stay,” Hartman says.

You can expect your menu favorites to make a return at the new location, along with expanded food options for breakfast and lunch.

“Will be doing stuff, different types of waffles, toast different sandwiches,” Hartman said.

Hartman says it’s been special for Flying Fox to grow in Greer while seeing the city itself thrive.

“We’re excited to be a part of that growth, and we’re excited to see where it’s going,” Hartman said.
