The City of Greer offers a variety of arts classes at the Center for the Arts, located at 804 Trade Street. Classes are offered throughout the year. See below for a listing of upcoming classes.
Intro to Art & Design
The class will include an introduction to elements and principles of design and color theory, use of multiple mediums (including pencil/charcoal, acrylic, and texture). We will create a finished work each week incorporating the techniques covered at the beginning of class. Instructor: Jaime Cain.
Ceramics & Pottery
All of our ceramics classes are great for beginners and intermediate students alike! Once you've learned basic skills, this flexible class will allow you to choose your own projects. All of our instructors are capable of teaching both hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques.
