Calling all interested vehicle technicians, the City of Greer has an open position for an emergency vehicle technician! We’re looking for someone with experience in automotive or electrical installation and repair. You’d be installing various equipment in to our emergency vehicles like: radios, center consoles, fabricated metal components, lights, sirens and more.

The City of Greer hopes you’ve had a great Labor Day so far! As a reminder, the City’s offices, facilities, and services are closed today. Trash collection will also be a day behind this week due to the holiday.
The first week of September in Greer is a quiet one. We don’t have anything planned other than letting you know that we will be closed for Labor Day tomorrow. We hope you’ve had a great Labor Day weekend so far!
Public Services has given the green light and the water main issues in City Park that popped up this past Saturday have been resolved! The bathrooms closest to the amphitheater in the park are now open again. (Also, a subtle reminder of today’s Greer Farmers Market from 4:30 - 7:30 PM. The banner just happened to be at the bathroom we swear.) 😉

Heads up City of Greer residents: the City Park amphitheater stage will be closed on Monday, August 19 for staining and will reopen on Friday, August 23. There will be barricades surrounding the area while the contractor works. If all goes well and if weather permits, the stage will reopen on Friday. If the weather changes things, we’ll be sure to update you!
