The City of Greer's Parks, Recreation & Tourism Assistant Director Red Watson was recently selected as the South Carolina Recreation & Parks Association (SCRPA) Professional of the Year! Red received his award at the SCRPA Annual Conference on December 13 with his family and colleagues in attendance. The City of Greer proudly congratulates Joe Aughtry, named the 2023 Upper State Code Enforcement Association Member of the Year! With eight years of dedicated service to the city, Joe was honored at the annual Upper State Christmas luncheon. This prestigious award recognizes his outstanding efforts in coordinating electrical inspectors across the upper state and providing essential training. Well-deserved, Joe!
