The Greer Civics Academy is a free ten-week course that takes you behind the scenes of the City of Greer. It is an opportunity for every resident to meet city leaders and staff that do the day-to-day work here in the City.

We will explore each city department so that everyone who participates has a clear understanding of what is involved in making local government work, and how resident involvement plays an essential role in the health of our community. This is an opportunity for every resident to grow as a local leader, and create a partnership that ensures the City of Greer remains a great place to live, work, and play.

Registration is now OPEN for the Fall 2024 session.

The Fall 2024 Greer Civics Academy will meet on the following dates. All classes meet from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Locations will vary depending on the department, and participants will receive that information in a syllabus prior to the start of classes.
