The Events Division plans special events and assists with renting the Event Halls, Cannon Centre, Picnic Shelter, Gazebo, and Amphitheater at Greer City Park.

Each year, the City of Greer takes the lead in organizing a variety of festivals and special events, and the planning is spearheaded by the dedicated Events Division staff. Whether it's the vibrant Freedom Blast, enchanting Moonlight Movies, the culturally rich Greer Goes Global International Festival, the enticing Food Truck Rollout, or any other event hosted at Greer City Park, the Events Staff plays a pivotal role in meticulously planning and flawlessly executing these community gatherings.

City-sponsored events maintain a smoke-free policy, and the presence of pets is not allowed. Additionally, it's important to note that children aged 16 and under must always be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during these events.
