Hey City of Greer community! It has come to our attention that there have been instances of incorrect items being placed in the bins at the Convenience Center. This has led to bins being refused at the landfill, returned to us, and our dedicated Public Services team having to allocate significant time to sort through them before proper disposal.
To ensure a smooth waste management process and to avoid unnecessary inconveniences, we kindly remind everyone to double-check and follow the guidelines for waste disposal. For example, yard waste cannot be placed into the construction materials bin (image shown)! Proper sorting not only benefits our community but also helps us in our mission to maintain a clean and sustainable environment!
