Juried Art Shows

The City of Greer hosts two juried art shows each year. The City of Greer Juried Arts Exhibition takes place each Spring and is open to student artists and professional artists. In previous years, the Juried Arts Exhibition has coincided with the City of Greer International Festival, and entries were submitted in one of two categories; "Greer Goes Global" and "Greer, An Upstate Destination". When the CenterG Project began in 2019, the Juried Arts Exhibition switched themes to "Where We’ve Been" and "Where We’re Going" to highlight the beautiful historic qualities of Greer, as well as the excitement for what the future holds in our city. For 2021, the theme has changed to "GREER: History, Industry, and Scenery".

The Giving Thanks Student Art Show takes place each Fall, is open to students K-12 and there is no entry fee to participate. This show has an open theme, but participants are encouraged to draw inspiration from things and people that they are thankful for.
