Recognizing that recycling is an investment in the future, the City of Greer is planning a major renovation of its convenience center located at 315 Buncombe Street. The center is open to residents:
Monday-Friday ......... 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday ................... 8 a.m. - Noon
Regrettably, market conditions and the rising cost of processing recyclable materials will force the City of Greer and Meridian Waste to discontinue collection of curbside recyclables beginning August 1, 2022. Recyclables may be brought to the City of Greer Convenience Center or one of the nearby Greenville County or Spartanburg County convenience centers.

Recycling bins may be kept, placed at the curb for collection or dropped off at the City of Greer Public Services Department at 446 Pennsylvania Ave.
