Playing in Greer

      people enjoying music
You know what they say about all work and no play....

That isn't a problem in the City of Greer, where you can be as active or as relaxed as you care to be during your free time.

Are you the active type?  Head out to one of the city's many parks to enjoy tennis, walking trails, or even disc golf.  Join a sports league operated by the City of Greer Parks and Recreation Department.  Leagues are available for both kids and adults.

Seniors certainly aren't left out.  The Parks and Recreation Department's Seniors Out and Around (SOAR) program offers everything from lunch programs to field trips.

Ready to kick back and put up your feet.  You can always do that at the Tunes on Trade concert series every Friday night during the summer.  Another favorite of families is the Moonlight Movies series, which shows recent blockbusters on a large inflatable movie screen in the City Park Amphitheater.

Of course, you can get some exercise and relax during on the of the city's many festivals.  Stroll around Greer City Park and enjoy music at different stages before a grand fireworks show closes Freedom Blast.  Or walk around the many vendor booths and entertainment sites in Greer Station at Family Fest or Oktoberfest.
