He inspects property for nuisances to include tall grass, trash, debris, and unsanitary, unhealthy and unsafe conditions.He responds to citizen inquiries and complaints, prepare correspondence outlining city ordinances and code violations. Issues citations, notices, condemnations and abates property as necessary. He also maintains records, reports, contact information, and prepare a monthly report documenting activities, violations and case disposition.As necessary, the code enforcement officer prosecutes violations and testifies in court.
